BIG Weekend!!!

Well it's almost the weekend and my BIRTHDAY!!! YaY My little sister from my sorority is coming today to visit and I'm soooo super excited. I'm even more excited that I get to meet your boyfriend that she has been with well...it seems like forever. I feel sometimes she is just like my real sister because I love and care so much for her. :) Speaking of sisters, my real sister came home for part of her spring break and we had alot of FUN. Now that she has moved away and went to school I miss her even more. Typical though HAHA We went on a boat ride Sunday and took Lynlee. She loved playing in the sand. Matt, Drews best friend from school came to stay with us for the weekend also and went out on the boat with us. We always enjoy getting to see him. Him and Lynlee loved putting on there sunglasses on in the house.

She is silly as always. She really warmed up to Matt fast and loved playing with him.

Lynlee just moved classrooms at school and I'm very excited for her. I've been spoiled with her old teachers because she has been with them since she was 8 months. I like her new teachers though alot and know she will have alot of fun in this class and learn so much. She gets to go outside and playing the the playground in this class and boy does she love it outside. She isn't too sure of the sand yet the teachers say but its only her first few days so she will soon get it. haha

Well I'm looking forward to the weekend so much as my wonderful hubby bought me a mani and a pedi for my birthday. It is a much needed thing with my crazy busy life. Were still settling into our new house and adding to it each day. Slowing adding new picture and decorations makes it more and more like a cozy home. Were really enjoying it alot and couldn't be happier.

Long Time

Well its Monday and I'm back at work. Had a very busy weekend with the family as we had a big yard sale. It was very successful since we got rid of all our unwanted/unused items. I really enjoy getting rid of those certain items we haven't touched since we moved back to Destin. It makes our house seem that much more clean. Having a yard sale is also a WONDERFUL way to meet your neighbors. We found out that our neighbors to the left of us have a 2 year old little girl and then our neighbors to the right of us have a 2 1/2 year little girl as well. Meeting them just makes me LOVE our neighborhood even more. Just to think even this summer Lynlee will have friends in the neighborhood to play with and also grow up with makes me SMILE. Well this weekend was SOOO pretty and sunny here in Destin. I got a little farmers tan going but I needed the sun so I enjoyed it. Lynlee has some little red checks going but she as well need some sun after spending months locked up inside because it was so cold. Lynlee had LOTS of fun this weekend having her grandparents over. As you can see from the video she enjoys being outside and could careless about her kid toys...she likes the grown up toys. HAHA

I'm gathering some pictures of our new house so I will post them on here soon so everyone can see. We are still slowly adding to the house and trying to find all the right pictures and decorations. It's all coming along and we are having so much fun doing it. I am really looking forward to spring a little more so we can plant flowers and get the yard looking bright and colorful. The New Year

Well as many of you know Drew and I just bought a new house. We signed our papers Christmas eve and spent many many hours preparing to move in. We have to say even though it was ALOT of work it was by far the best Christmas present ever. We have to thank my hard working parents for helping us look and find the right house. They are both Realtors and I know worked harder with us than any other clients they have. Well we painted the whole house and started with Lynlee's room first which is of course PINK! :) We are all moved in now and just doing the little things to make it more like HOME! It's really coming together and starting to look so good.

On another note Lynlee is growing and getting so big. She is almost 17 months old and I can't believe how fast time has flown by. I feel like just last month I was pregnant with her. We are enjoying every min with her as its flying by. If we have a bad day at work or just a little stressed with anything we know she will ALWAYS put a smile on our face. Lynlee is talking up a storm...still mostly her own language but can say alot such as Mom, Dad, Bay (which means Bailey), Water, Ball and a few other things. She knows what she wants though even if she can't say it and understands everything we say. If she wants her milk she knows to go to the fridge. I never imagined she would be so smart and understand so much this young.

Well as the days go by I will most certainly add new things to my blog about whats going on in our lives. This is all very new to me so I will learn more of what to do! :) Seems fun and I hope its a great way to keep in touch with those I miss. I hope enjoy reading as much as I enjoy sharing! :)
